In Daniel 6, we learn that the King Darius of Babylon redirected his steps to ensure that he now did the right thing. He was the one who abandoned his friend and counsel, consigning Daniel to the dungeon of lions for breach of his decree according to the law of Persia and Medes. He however made a u-turn because he saw he acted under emotional pressure and without foresight- the rumours and laws were a product of conspiracy and should have saw that. Daniel too didn’t help matters, the moment the law was passed by the authority of his day restraining public worship, he continued his resolve and later went upstairs, opening the curtains, facing Jerusalem whilst lifting his hands in humble worship. That was noble and honouring to God, but also some kind of guts against his friend the King- you see, God had to come first, but also the timing required it. It was simple, personal, but yet for some reason resonated. He could worship outside the view of his adversaries, but at that moment where eyes and ears will be on him, he wanted Jehovah God to be the focus, rather than submerging into a cocoon of inactivity. He knew this was a special opportunity to lift God up. Not so he could be a star but to first stir his heart towards God, and inspire others who may take notice. We need not always do this, as God searches the heart and knows our deepest prayers, but at that moment his faith compelled him to point his nation and community to Elohim. By just being one person crying out for God for mercy and help. And God was glorified by it. The result of this selfless attitude was the salvation of many from idolism. The King changed his steps to later be of help to Daniel- a testimony to the power of faith in Daniel, also an act of God at work in the King, and the influence of faith and love for God to a whole generation. Thanks be to God. May God help us to seize the right window of priviledge to glorify God, and may we also have the boldness to retrace steps when there is need to. As for those who insisted on vainly crafted law for a malicious purpose, we need not bother about their end. We see God has it. God bless.

Encountering God is not meeting a ‘spiritualist’, fortune teller, a trickster or magician, psychic, a materialist or naturalistic speaker, or anywhere you go to pay for an independent service for an out of body experience- it’s about a real spiritual heart transplant and relationship with the ultimate divine person, the one at the echelon of spiritual hierarchy transcending any earthly prototype of authority, and having His power in you, staying with you, everyday, every hour. Christ stays with you by His Spirit and tabernacles over you – till it gets overwhelming. Well, that would be like a river of water, flowing by and leaving your garden of roses well nourished endlessly. Your life needs the blessings the Lord brings. God created is for His delight. So, how about that? I still believe God can meet every need, and give you the best. Think Jesus’s words – I will never leave or forsake you. Praise God. And all glory to His holy name. God bless. God calls us to keep on walking in his divine purpose. First, he brings us all into a knowledge of His person, of His goodness, and calls us to go replicate and extol these virtues. It’s a journey into maturity, where as a babe our instinct are configured by His nature, but by the Word our will is made strong and discerning capacity sharpened. God brings us all in to savour His inestimable knowledge and grace, and then the sting and even restrictions of ignorance washed away. The responsibility is on the believer to deepen the crave for wisdom, pursue after, digest, so as to grow by the fine working of His supernatural power through the Spirit of Christ. Praise God. “Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. What can we garner? There is such a blessing when we all gather together, not because of us but for the glory of His mighty name. Remember this, please. God loves us and will bring us under His safe refuge as we journey with Him, so don’t fear, only rejoice in His love and great grace. He speaks with us when we pray to teach us. I tell you his goodness is not meant to accompany you only for a day but a lifetime, so keep investing your praise to His person. And then watch Him change your story for good and bring you to spiritual maturity. All seasons matter to God, night and day are alike to Him, so give thanks for His creative blessings benefiting us all. Like Jacob drew inspiration and comfort from God in times of hardship- Genesis 31:41-42, so you too can, God has no peculiars. I tell you the gospel truth, as God’s servant called to declare the whole counsel of God to you, that God has the best plans for you as you wholly trust Him to receive His blessing- you find every godly and spiritual blessing in Christ. Keep speaking for His praise on the earth and trusting Him. It’s the one that trust Him that will see His eternal grace. God bless. Cheers beloved.

God longs to commune with us and show us things to come, but do we want to hear Him? Of course, we say. But can we endure the truth of His words, receive His messenger with a form and operation different from our anticipation, and honour what He honours? In Jesus Christ of Nazareth we find the messiah and soon coming King, and in the Scriptures we find the mind of God, in the person of the Holy Spirit we see God presently at work with us now. Well there is a better way, the way of the cross, God working in Christ wishes us well, body soul and spirit, but learning to find out His purpose and yielding to Him is a good way to progress in your spiritual journey. And knowing God will always commend the righteous by faith, and uphold them in times of need. This is to say God means well for you beyond your expectations. God bless. Cheers.

The ministry of the word prospers wherever it is sent. The body may not move but if the word is sent from the body of that regenerated soul in Christ, it operates to mightily bring spiritual succour, to where it is openly received. Where a word is spoken without the Spirit it is void and ineffectual to bring spiritual transformation, whether that word spoken appears to meet the grand standing of intellectualism, or not- it matters nothing. A word from God is one with the Spirit’s intent, and indivisible, for God’s Word itself is spiritual and breathes truth. A worthy prayer, is Lord I receive your word from heaven, cleanse me by your Spirit, heal me by your Spirit, strengthen me by your word-my meat, and were word has been spoken in contravention to your word let it cease. May your word proceed as from an undefiled altar and let purifying fire come down from heaven, so our praise will be acceptable. A word not aided by the Spirit is never from God. It’s a word from God we need for the hour. Praise be to God, glory to His Holy name. God bless.

To encounter God you must not invent gesticulations or whip up convulsions, you only need to be still but do what He says, God could prove Himself in any circumstances. Perhaps, the less of us the less interference to His glory. God could move in our calmness or exuberance, Christ then must take centre stage as He pleases, and we must be reminded He moved for His praise and glory alone. My prayer is may God take control continually. That the excellency may be of Him not us. I said that, to say this, I know nothing except that which the Holy Spirit reveals, and not on anytime according to my choosing but as He wills – I say this to continually point you to Christ, and His words in the holy writ. So often we’re humbled by the grace of God as He speaks, but know this it is so our confidence is in Him not us. I believe God wants us to all, as the body of Christ, come to maturity so we discern what God is saying for the hour. He will help us, as we yield to Him. God’s Word will clean us as with washing of water the deep recesses of our hearts from impurities, prune us for we are connected to Him, build us in faith and set us on fire for His glory. God is saying wholesome words to you, can you perceive it? In Jesus name, receive the implanted word and live. Praise the Lord. God bless.

Thanks be to God, for if without Christ, it’s your own ‘victory’ in the flesh to achieve sinful goals by deception, God desires no acknowledgment nor will He compel any against their will, and there is no glory in the end. And soon you may conclude if it could always work this way then God is in it. If you want the path of truth, soundness of mind, God-inspired victory, faith against the odds, perseverance, hope and love, you will find it in Christ. Like the saints we read of in Scripture, who journeyed in often a perilous road focusing on the crown ahead- understanding it’s not only about beginning perfectly in His will but finishing strong according to His plan. Beyond excuses, knowing the God of heaven does no wrong, and that it is in Him our faith is perfected. The wind of the Spirit may take us in a different direction, but for today this is the emphasis I hear. God bless. Praise God. Cheers.

When God makes a promise He keeps it. He has promised to take you to the ‘other side’, a place of freedom, fulfilled potentials, spiritual worship and truth, supernatural deliverances and provision, healing and all the manifest blessings of God. Guess what? He intends to keep it. However, to get there you must have the right kind of Spirit. A heart that believes what God can do. Not a double mind, a singleness of mind that believes God can make true His word. As He wills. It’s that attitude that was in Caleb, that spirit of obedience and trust, the Spirit of faith. There are those who have seen God and still do not believe, tasted the joy of the miraculous yet are doubtful of God’s abilities, perhaps because He cannot be cajoled from His timing, these cannot enter the blessing coming. This is the time to pray Lord help me trust you more and more – in fact, I invite you to a deeper dimension to say, where else can we go but to you sovereign Lord! For the Spirit of God in you glorifies Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the world. To Him be all glory and honour. Amen. God bless.

If there is anything God will show you more this season, it’s your safety ultimately is in Christ. My hope is we are not hard of hearing, relearning in several ways the same message. While we do the best we can in practical ways, this generation however must learn to pause and say- God, you are Lord, my safe refuge. The arm and arms of flesh avails nothing, it’s the arm of God you need. Praise be to God. Cheers.
